The Power of the Subconscious

I think it is only fit to start off this blog with a brief introduction to a beautiful book "The Power of your Subconscious Mind" by Joseph Murphy; first written in 1963

I have come across this book several times in the last 25 years or so. I either borrowed the book from a friend or library and returned it unread or bought my own copy and lent it to someone and never asked for it to be returned. I have no idea whether the other person benefitted from it.

The book was mentioned in a seminar I attended last week. I am a student of the conversational hypnosis and decided maybe this book will throw some insights into the working of the subconscious.

I've read about 50 pages as I am writing this post. And...

I've started applying the principles mentioned.

What I am seeing is that there is a shift in the way I think about myself and the world around me. The shift in the way I think has a domino effect on the way speak and behave.

Have I become a paradigm of perfection overnight? No. I doubt if I will ever become perfection itself. But, I am seeing that as I start implementing the concepts I am learning, I am moving more and more towards contentment and peace.

I've already stopped magnifying minor irritations. I've stopped cribbing.

I am looking forward to seeing the results of these very minor changes in my way of being
